Above ground pool deck

I am planning out my deck for our above ground pool and I am trying to figure out how to get the decking up under the lip cut cleanly around the top pool rail cap. There is already a deck there that was built by the previous owner and they 'tried' to go around the cap but butchered it bad!! Since I am expanding the deck I am going to redo the decking the previous owner screwed up.
How can I get a smooth finished look around the cap? Any pictures or video's would be great!!

There are a lot of videos on YouTube but none that specifically show how to do this.

Thanks
wade

A good start would be a picture or two of what you have there.

If I understand your project you want to cut each board to fit flush so a contour gauge would do the trick.
