Need advice on sufficient support for 8 ft 4x4 cedar horizontal post

On one side of my deck I am going to build framing to hold roller shades for my deck. The framing is currently planned as 2 4x4 x 8 ft tall cedar posts vertical on each end with one same-size vertical cedar post in the middle. The posts will be mounted to the fascia of the deck. The length of the framing from outside post to outside post is 90 inches. A fourth cedar post will be placed horizontally on the top of the 3 vertical cedar posts. The horizontal top post is where I will mount my roller shades.

My question: Would I be able to eliminate the middle support post? This would mean that the 8 ft horizontal cedar post would not have a middle support? Your advice is appreciated.

The 8' unsupported 4x4 would probably be strong enough without the middle upright but it would certainly depend on the weight of the shades.
