Question Please help, what is this deck made of? How do I repair it?

We bought our house in the fall, and have noticed all winter there's a spot on our front deck where water pools and the paint is bubbled and cracked and there is a *very slow* leak in the carport underneath. I pulled back the paint to try to figure out what to do to repair it. I've never had a deck like this, appears to be wood, with rubber on top, then a layer of ?white plastic? then a top coat of ?paint?. Is this rubber roofing, something else?

That could be some type of rubber or roll roofing. Is that deck flat ? I'd imagine it's some type of wood product underneath on top of some type of wood joists. Is it wood covered underneath ?

Yes, it's a flat deck. Under the black rubber is wood.

I would say it's probably some type of layered fiberglass coating. Your best bet might be to call a local company that does that and have them look at it.
