Patio bar/counter build

Since I'm new to this forum, Is this the right place to get information pertaining to building a outside
Bar? Looking for design and framing suggestions. Thanks

I'm in PA. The patio is under roof. I had a footer poured for the bar/counter whenI did the patio . It's gonna be one straight bar. I'm leaning towards framing in wood instead of metal studs. Would like to incorporate some storage space underneath also. Still in early stages . Pre-planning.

I would probably build it like a bank of euro cabinets (frameless cabinets), made out of some nice 3/4" baltic birch plywood. Apply a matching flat face frame made of pvc 1x2 to the bottom of the cabinets before you set them... (it won't rot if it gets wet, and will keep the cabinets elevated 3/4" off the wet floor). Fasten cleats to the concrete... set the cabinets over the cleats... attach the cabinets to the cleats. Cover the exterior sides that will get the stone with cement backer board.

I've worked on outdoor kitchens where they have had the cabinets sprayed with bedliner to make them weather resistant. Looks cool too.
