Rebuild Retaining Wall
Our Retaining Wall @ the end of the Laneway crossing the Ditch needs tobe replaced..It's presently wood so we're looking at using Cement for the New Retaining Wall.. We're looking at using the present wall as a form on one side and digging a trench to pour the new wall..
What is the Formula to Calculate Cement needed if the Trench will be say 18" Thick. 13' long and 4' High... We're looking at the Cost factor whether to Truck in the Ready Mixed Concrete or In the Bag and mix on site..... Thoughts & Opinions. Please & Thank You

You'll have to play with the numbers to get something that thick, it's a lot of cement to mix!

Keep in mind that simply pouring concrete does not make a retaining wall. Numerous websites and books describe how to make a retaining wall and it would be good to educate yourself before pouring so much concrete. Two important things for any retaining wall which you never mentioned were the foundation/base and drainage behind the wall.
