patio awning problem
How do i upload a picture from my computer instead of a uRL?

the awning is about 12 years old in a mild climate.
we have had very high temperatures lately.
where the awning roof meets the house one can see Styrofoam.
see it on the ground on the left and a closeup of the the stuff in the right pic.
we dont see birds pecking at it.
what is happening?
is it simple to replace?
maybe white paint on it?
thanks all

Not sure exactly what product they used there but it must be some type of EPS foam closure. I have never seen that used on a w-pan roof. Your best bet would be to talk to a local company that installs those types of roofs / rooms.
Closest thing I can find is #747 12" W Pan Bug Plug. Google it.
It's for pan that is 12" wide, so there are 2 ribs per panel that are maybe 5" wide... 3" tall.
