French drain exit pipe size

I am putting a French drain at the front of a storage shed. The exit pipe will be approximately 15 ft. The French drain has a 3" opening, but with an adapter can accommodate a 4" pipe. The opening is still 3". In this case any reason to go with a 4" pipe?

They offer the option of using 4" pipe because that is the most common size of corrugated black pipe. Many places that's the only size they stock. So while it may not help with drainage it might be all you can find in the big box home center.
