How should this porch look?
Hi all,
I am in the process of building a monument sign for my business and would like for the porch of my shop/storefront building to coordinate with it as much as possible. What design would you suggest?
This is a mockup of the sign and one I have been playing with on the building. Thanks!

You need WAY more headroom than that above your door and windows or it will feel chlostrophobic under there. If you kept that design it would need to be pushed up as high as possible (no siding above... only flashing) because 7ft off the ground is too low. The 4 columns also make it look a little too crowded. 2 (at the corners only) would look better... keeps it wide open.
You might also consider the open king post truss look with black iron tie plates instead.

I noticed your handicap parking sign. Be sure to check your state's accessibility code to see what, if anything, you need for sideroom on the latch side of the door. Not sure the pillars would meet accessibility code in MN.

ADA regulations also dictate the height of those signs. I think they require a tube to 42" and the sign height is insanely tall, like 7' or something. I forget exactly.
