In looking for porch railings, I ran across Rail Brackets. They are needed for plastic railings since you can't just screw the plastic railing to the post. They can snap on and off the post if you need to re-paint. It's a slick idea and I'd like to use them with my wood railings. But I can't find any shapes that are at all close to matching.
Any ideas?

Guessing this is your first deck, railing build.
They do not just snap on and off.
Wooden and Vinyl railings are installed totaly differently.
Why would you want to remove the railings to repaint?
There done in place.
Use something like this if for some reason you think you need to pull it out to paint.

They don't make them for wood railings because wood railings get screwed to the posts.
PVC railings come in sections that fit between the post sleeves, and the brackets are how you attach the railings to the posts. They are not meant to slide on and off.
And if you have wood railings why would you need them in the first place?
