Using Fiberon composite balusters with wood railing ?
I found the Fiberon Composite Balusters at a local Habitat Restore for 5$/21. No other parts. I've researched and having trouble finding the connectors, then have to purchase the rail system, etc. Mucho $$$. For a weekend farmhouse so really trying to figure out how to use these square balusters and connect to treated wood rails and posts. I've looked at iron baluster shoes, but not a perfect fit. One suggested sliding the hollow baluster over a round iron rod, then drilling appropriate size hole into the wood to attach. May try to price that today. I hate to return these, but have until Sept 6 to do so. Any great ideas?
