Backyard Pond creation with deck

Hi guys,

I am working on my backyard and want to create a pond with a deck in the middle of the pond.
The deck will be around 8 ft x 8ft and should be literally in the middle of the pond, which will be about 13 ft x 17ft.

My question is : how do I go about creating strong foundation for the deck ?
Deck should be able to hold a bed, 3 people and a roof, etc.

I thought about a Simpson tie structure for the feet of the deck, but I am afraid it will not be strong enough.
Also, I wanted to use only one piece of pond liner instead of sealing several ones.
I attached some pictures so that it could be cleared.
Let me know if u need more info.

Thanks !

Build your deck first then construct the pond around it. Dig the hole for your pond. Then construct the deck to the elevation you want above the water. You're not going to do this without a lot of seaming and liner work so toss the idea of using a single piece of liner. This is a complex project.
