Paver Patio Slope Necessary?
I'm considering a 13 x 17 paver patio with a 12 x 16 pavilion set in concrete footings. My question is this, if a pavilion is covering all of the patio surface, is a slope necessary or can I just go ahead and build it level? I understand that some water is going to get on the patio but can't I get away with just making it level?

I should also mention that the patio will be about 3 feet away from the foundation of the house and will be a hip roof style pavilion. I was going to fill those 3 feet in with marble stone or something of the sort.

Your second post is just in time because I was just about to say that, in my opinion, flat is fine as long as it's at least 10' from the foundation of your home. But, since it's not, my suggestion is for about 1/8" slope away from the house. I like hip roofs, and am sure it would look nice, but unless the plans call for eaves troughs and downspouts, maybe copper on something like this, I would look at something else to avoid that water dumping that close to the house as well.
