Exterior Wood Filler

Exterior Wood Filler
Any thoughts on Gorilla Wood Filler for exterior repairs like small rotted spots in deck railing? I do clean it well and use a wood hardener before filling. Thanks for your help.

i suggest epoxy as it's strong, hard, durable, and waterproof. I've used PC-Woody epoxy (2-part) repair paste and PC wood hardener with good results. Make certain to get out any rot first. Note that it takes some effort to sand.

I've used MH Ready Patch, not good, I had good luck wiith Bondo but was looking for a simple premixed filler that works. Marksr, right now the piece I'm dealing with is simpler to replace. When I come across another problem I will post a picture. I know you've been a member a long time. Would you know why I'm not receiving email notifications of answers to my posts? I've always gotten them in the past. Thanks
