Tub & Shower surround

Bath & Shower Surround post 4-28-16

For starters I've never put a shower surround in. And secondly I live in a mobile home.
I was looking at a surround made by Peerless from Lowe's. It comes in 5 pieces and most all the measurements I keep seeing for all the different kinds of styles. Say something like 60X30X58 (common). Since I live in a moblie home I'm worried about mine not being common.

My acctual measurments are 58" high

Length or width from front to back. Ah better put the length of the bath tub 54"

And Depth 27 1/4"

My main question is. Can I use a jigsaw or utilty knife and cut the panels down to size. Since all the panels are to big.

Most conventional tubs are 60" long while most MH tubs are only 56" long, you said yours is 54" Some MH tubs are narrower than convention tubs.
You'll need to find how the panels go together to make sure you can use it on a shorter tub.
