Minor bathroom update questions

After some small projects (including tiling, installing new recessed lights, major repair of outdoor stairs, hardwood floor refinish), I think I am now ready for something big.

updating lower level bath (on concrete floor)

Planning to replace our tiled standup shower with a 3 side glass corner shower enclosure and replace vanity sink with a pedestal sink.

The tile shower will be demoed . Question -- Do I need to be concerned about structural integrity during demo ?

To get the work permitted, I am planning to hire a plumber for part of the work. I am wondering how much time I should allocate for the plumber -- will need to relocate the plumbing a bit for pedestal sink and extend the shower drain by about 1 foot to match the new shower.

I moved your thread here as I think your project fits here better.

I'm not the pro here but a few remarks.

Your going to replace the shower with another shower.
A three sided glass corner shower..... something like this ?

You'll be putting new tile on the wall ?
What are your plans for the shower pan ?

extend the shower drain by about 1 foot
Since the bathroom is on a concrete floor this means the floor will need to opened, the drain moved and then the hole re-patched. That will add a day or two to the work right there.

You got it right except that, my plan is to use a complete pre-fab unit . No tiles.
