Bathroom tile opinion

Hi.

I am almost finished tiling my bathroom. I currently have 3x6 white ceramic tile about 3 feet high around the entire room. In the tub area I added blue glass subway tile up to the ceiling.

I am debating whether to carry the blue to the other two tub walls or continue with the white subway. Opinions?

Picture not coming through. The space before the .com is causing the problem. Either you or the mod needs to fix it.

This question is strictly a personal taste issue. But we are more than willing to voice our opinions.

If I picture this correctly I think I would carry the blue to the other walls.

OK, after seeing the pic, yes carry it over. I hope you have plenty of light. It's very dark.

The forum doesn't play nice with tinypic. Try this http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...your-post.html

Not only does the board not play nice with tinypic....it won't allow a link to there either.
My choice is photobucket.

The blue is a little on the dark side but at this point I'd carry it around to the sides.

I agree with Pete that the blue is a little dark, but uniformity will play a big role in finishing it. Carry it around to the sides as well.

Hopefully, your elements (rough-in's) fall on a grout line, otherwise it will be a challenge to cut a circle out of the center of a glass tile. That would be the only limiting factor in carrying the glass all the way around.
