Undersink Water filtration system for hot/cold water?
Are there any undersink filtration systems that can do both hot and cold water? I wouldn't be opposed to buying 2 separate systems (one for hot, one for cold).
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

What type filtration system do you want? I would not install an RO system on the hot side but you could do a cartridge filter if you really wanted.

What do you want to remove from the water, especially the hot side?
What is your water source? (well, municipal?)
There are housings and filter cartridges available for hot water but they are normally only available from commercial suppliers and are expensive.
Cold water filtration has many more options.

One option would be to use a single system on the cold side, and then install an under-sink instant hot water dispenser, fed from the filter, to provide filtered hot water for coffee, tea, etc.

Thanks for the quick replies! We just found out there is a presence of lead in the water, and from what we were told it's coming from the pipes in the house, not the water main (otherwise we would put in a whole house filter and be done with it). We would prefer to not have a separate hot water faucet, and continue to use the existing faucet. Also, we have well water.

Normally you do not consume hot water from a hot water tank.
The sediment that accumulates is difficult to remove, even with periodic flushing and there are a few types of bacteria that can grow in that environment.....Legionella for one.
You would do well to filter the cold water at one location and use a point of use heater as Paul suggested off of that line.
