Where can I get kitchen backsplash cheap?
My wife found some "designer" backsplash but it is about $42 a sq ft. I need about 15 sq ft so this is way too much money for me. Is there any place to get "designer" look backsplash cheap?

There are all types of tiles to choose from. If you can find some close out tile it should have a discounted price - just be sure you purchase enough as you might not be able to get more.

There is fake tile available, that's about as cheap as it gets. Some of it looks pretty nice but it will not match the quality of real tile.
Check out thermoplastic splashes or tin splashes. Fasade is one company.

Any time you go with mosaics, the price goes up. At $42 per square foot, that is easily the most expensive I have ever heard of. Shop around and you can find a better price. I'd say you should be able to find it in the $20 to $25 dollar range.
