Chipped corner corian vanity top.
I have a crack in the corner of the vanity top in a bathroom. It is fairly deep. In fact, there is something black visible at the bottom of the chip. My wife put some kind of paint on it so it wouldn't look so bad. The top is pretty white but I'm not sure exactly what color it is because the top was in the house when we bought the house.I want to know if there is some way to match the color and repair this myself?

It would have been easier to repair if it hadn't already been "repaired". All of the paint will need to be removed and the damaged area thoroughly cleaned and degreased with solvent. Then there are epoxy kits just for making repairs and splices. You mix up the epoxy and tint it to match the counter. Then you fill in the damaged area and let the epoxy harden. After the hole if filled in you can come back and sand it flush with progressively finer grits until you get back to a sheen that matches the rest of the counter.
