Cutting Granite

I have a piece of granite counter top and I need to make a 60" cut. I have an angle grinder and wondered which specific blade would be best to make this cut.
Also, is there a way to cut a circle out of the center with a grinder?

This is where you don't want to cut corners on the blade, get diamond!

Straight cut? Will be difficult to do with grinder which doesn't have a way to use a guide/fence. A circular saw would work, might even be a job to take to a installer who cut's similar all day.

Thanks for the reply Marq1. Is there a specific brand or type of diamond blade that you recommend? I have a circular saw but was going to use the grinder with a straight edge.

Just google "circular saw blade for stone". There are many brands and price points. I have one I bought for cutting the veneer stone on an old miter saw, several for the grinders. They all cut very clean but do it outside, extremely dusty!
