Oversized double hung window

Looking for either a single oversized double hung window or a two window in one assembly for a replacement window. Got the rough opening measurement. It's 68.5 wide and 58.5" tall. Any help is greatly appreciated

If you can't find what you want in the big box stores, go to a building supply house or call Marvin or Pella.

Except for the display and sales windows at supply houses and box stores, NO window is manufactured until the measurements are sent to them. You can order any size window you want. There may be a few weeks lead time, but it sure beats making do with ill fitting windows in openings that have to be filled in.

Adding to what Chandler said, special orders are not returnable. Make sure that your measurements are exact.

Removing Cat Flap/Door

We have a cat flap on our interior wood panel basement door I want to remove and cover. I thought it would be easy: using sanded plywood and gluing the fitted pieces in place on both sides, followed by some filler and paint. However, looking online I've gotten the feeling the project may be more difficult than it appears. What's involved?

[ATTACH]62531[/ATTACH] I am installing windows on my home. and up against permit inspections. The woman that they sent out to inspect doesn't like where I screwed them in. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with a few window installation terms.: Head O C distance Sill O C Distance Jamb OC Distance And How it relates to Corner distance, which I already know is 4" what I really need to know if where to put the screws. The diagram specs are very confusing. The home depot guy wasn't great at explaining it. nor the manufacturer. so I;m hoping some of my FB friends may be able to clear this up for me.
