window screens - optimal type for maximum visibility Ultravue vs BetterVue

I am building screens for my city apartment to increase ventilation but keep the bugs out. Anyone have experience with with Ultravue vs BetterVue.

Home depot has :

BetterVue 60" x 25 ft for $38
UltraVue 60" x 50ft for $90

Both offering have more than enough material for my needs, but is ultravue worth the extra $52?

Thanks

Value is something only you can judge. Your post indicates you would like "maximum" visibility, which is what the more pricy one will be. Up to you if you think it's worth it or not. From what I have read, the ultravue gives you 5% more visible light and airflow than bettervue. That's probably barely perceptible even if they were installed side by side. Either one will be a noticable improvement over standard screen.

Thanks XSleeper. 5% is probably not perceptible.
