Need to fix my door seal...

Hello, it's winter in Pennsylvania, although a warm one, but I have a big old gap between my exterior door and the door seal. I went to home Depot and they don't have anything thick enough to take up the space. It's about a 1.25" gap at the top of the door and. 25-.5" on the bottom. I got the type of seal that is a bead of vinyl with the strip that you nail to the frame but the top of the door is a bigger gap than the width of the seal I bought.

I don't think I can move my hinge plates anywhere to fix it and not sure what my best option is..

Has anyone fixed this big of a gap before?

I didn't really wanna adjust the door frame strips since that's just more work that I planned on doing to stop the cold air from coming in even though that's probably the correct fix.

Pics are below to give an idea what I have going on...

Thanks for your help,
David

Here's the hinge pictures... And the opposite side of the door. It's very hard to tell in the pictures but the opposite side of the hinge is not even with the frame the top corner is pulled in and the bottom corner is flush.

I think you are either missing a hinge pin, or the hinges are bent. (Top pic) Someone probably tried to jimmy the door with a wrecking bar.. are there marks in the paint on the outside of the door? Buy a new set of hinges.

I was actually hoping for a picture of the top hinge side of the door from the outside with the door shut.

I'm confused, you want the hinge in the picture or the opposite side of the door visible?

I think your asking for the outside top corner, right?

Like your very first picture in post 1, but showing the top right side of the door.
from the outside with the door shut
If you want to post a pic of the door hinge from the inside when the door is closed as well, that's fine.

Yeah only thing I can figure is that something is wrong with your hinges... someone replaced them with the wrong ones or something. In post 4, top picture, your hinge looks half busted like part of the barrels are gone. Or maybe you had an uneven pease hinge that someone replaced with the wrong size. All I can figure if the whole hinge side is wrong. If it's just the top compare the width of the top hinge with the bottom hinge and see if they are the same or not.
