Help with Ideas for 50.5"x 84.5" doorway

Hello...I would like to ask if anyone could offer advice on creating a door on an opening from livingroom to sunken extra room. The opening is all drywall currently with no trim. It is 50.5" wide, 84.5" high, and wall is approximately 16-18 inches wide in the actual threshold of the opening.

We have considered Barn doors (single or double), sliding door, bifold, and french doors. As the space is a unique size, are there any other solutions that you may suggest or have come across?

Thank you so much for your time!

French doors would be nice but you would find that they would be either both open or both closed, since 24" is kind of awkward to fit through. You usually want to remove corner bead so that your wall is a standard thickness and so that your trim will lay flat.
