Gasket for window in front door.
I have a Stanley front door. About 35 years old. The glass panel is most of the door. I have enclosed a picture of the gasket that I need. Could any one point me in the right direction to find one.

That's not a gasket, it's a plastic frame. You can probably order one at any box store millwork department or lumber yard if you know the size. (Overall width x height) Telling them the brand of door might help too. You would be wise to get the entire frame (both sides) and the glass assembly as one kit.

It would have to be ordered directly from Stainley.
You can do it on line or any real lumber yard that's a Stanley dealer can do it for you.
Between the cost of the part and the shipping it may be time for a new door.
Before ordering one I'd check out Craig's list under materials.
Reason being people are replacing that style door all the time because the jambs have rotted out but the doors still good.

They are mostly made now by one of two companies that supply to pretty much all the door manufacturers. The profiles may be slightly different but they are usually interchangeable. Plastpro and ODL are the 2 big names. I believe ODL is the most common. Any number of sources online, or a local big box or lumberyard.
I noticed my local HD even stocks the most popular ones, prob due to the sun here, or maybe the meth heads?

Gasket for front door
I have a front door that needs a new gasket around the glass in the center of the door. The door is about 35 years old. It is very good shape. From what I see the gasket holds and seals the glass to the door. Could I just use silicone to form a gasket on the door. It would be thick enough to hold and seal the glass. I could even use brown silicone to match the door.

That doesn't look like a gasket. It's the plastic "molding" that forms the frame for the glass panel. I have never seen the plastic available as a replacement item as it comes as a part of the door though you could look for something vinyl or wood that would work as a replacement.
