Hi,
I have a single pane sliding window that has an entire pane busted out - essentially just the vinyl "frame" remains in the window frame. I'm stumped on how to repair / replace this.
This is in an old, not well-kept up house I recently acquired. I have little-to-no make / model / manufacturer information.
Here are three photos. One is an overview, then there's one looking at each side of the pane.
Thank you!!
Timothy

I'd suggest you take it out, take it to your local Ace Hardware store and ask them to fix it. Be sure you don't lose any of the rubber glazing boot.

I'm with you. We have some hardware stores that do repairs like that... but I can't figure out how to get it out of the frame? I'm used to the double hung where there are little spring-loaded posts I can retract to pull the sash out of the frame... I can't see anything like that on this dude.

Normally you just lift it up and swing the bottom out. May have to move to middle of track. Also look for any screws or blocks in the top that would prevent it from being lifted.
