How do I remove my screens?

Ok, this seems like an overly trivial stupid easy question, but I cannot figure out how to remove my screens. I need to remove them because we have a major water leak and I need to caulk in between the window and the brick. But I need to remove the screens (so I dont need to use a ladder.) But, I can't get the screens out. I busted off one of the tabs at the top. I'm attaching pics. I can rotate the levers at the top. But I can only rotate it so much until that straight piece of plastic hits the top and doesn't allow me to rotate it any further. With it rotated as far as possible, the part holding the screen in is still in the crevis. I busted the first one rotating it beyond. I've also tried rotating it as far as I could then pushing down on the screen thinking it should clear, but it doesn't budge.. it doesn't move down. Name: IMG_20170325_104537.jpg

I keep trying to attach a picture of my whole window and it keeps erroring. Tried to upload it to dropbox and insert it via url and that's erroring too. Here's a link to see a pic of the whole window.

Forget it. I had my wife look too and she busted one of the levers same as I did. Gave up and busted all of them out. We're getting new windows in a few weeks that come with new screens, so it didn't matter I ruined all of them.

For next time those screens appear to need a sharp object to carefully pry up between the bottom of the screen to move it upwards.
It should clear a shallow groove and pull towards you then down as it clears the bottom.
There may be a flat spring pushing down to keep screen in the groove.
