Any ideas how to install a door in pictured opening?

Hi All,

When we bought our house it had these.. somewhat cool openings built in.. now a few years later I'd really like to be able to install a door into this closet opening.

I'd like to keep the arch design if possible but be able to add a door (preferably bi-fold to keep from blocking the entrance door as much as possible and retain as much access space as we can).

I'm not sure if theres a way to install a door while keeping the top design.

Any ideas?

How high are the sides of the arch? what is the width of the opening? You might be able to use bifolds if they will fit under the arch [leave that part open]

French doors, yes. Bifold doors, no.
