New Window Issues

We recently had a contractor install a large awning window in our kitchen. Once we cleaned it up, we noticed a scratch in the glass. The contractor ordered a new sash from the manufacturer and installed it with no issues. The problem now is that every morning we can see where condensation has run down the outside of the window requiring the window to be cleaned on a ladder. We did not have this issue with the original sash during the 3 weeks it was installed while we waited for the replacement, nor did we have it with the old double hung window.

Could there be an issue with the new sash that is causing a large amount of condensation build-up that leads to it running down the glass every night/morning?

Is it a double pane window? Could the seal between the panes be bad?

It is a double pane window. There is not moisture between the panes, only on the outside of the window. The seal is good.
