Sticking sliding glass door

I have a sliding glass door(7' high x approx.44" wide) in a 7' x 8 1/2' metal frame, sitting on a metal track. When I attempt to close it, the door sticks about 5-8" from the door jamb. I've sprayed most of the bottom track with WD-40, which works for a few times, but eventually, the sticking recurs. Is this fixable and if so, how?

Your rollers are likely shot if the track is straight and undamaged. Either that or the frame has bowed. If it worked fine for several years, then it's likely the rollers. You would need to remove the sliding panel by lowering the rollers, removing the moving panel, and replacing them.
