Patio Screen Sliding Door Help

Hi,

I'm trying to find a lower track for my patio screen door rollers to slide on.

The problem is, the track looks like it was part of the full slider door assembly so not sure where to purchase.

The space the track can fit in is only about 5/8 inch.

I've attached a photo in hopes someone can point me to the right direction.

thanks!

Are you sure there is supposed to be a track? Very often on some doors the screen just rides in a groove and you have to adjust the wheels on both ends to get it square and have it slide smoothly. I don't know of any aftermarket track you could buy that would fit that small an area. Most are add-ons that are riveted in place to my knowledge.

What's all that dark crap in the groove?

If there really was a track insert in there, see the repair instructions here: http://www.allaboutdoors.com/Screen-...ic-Unavailable

Found it!

technically, it's 9/16" wide.

Installed, now my screen door is buttery smooth!

Good job...and thanks for reporting back the outcome. You've probably helped 10 people in the future.

I've already bookmarked the site.
