Door Binding
I took my front door off to paint it. Took all of the metal off. When I put the hinges back on and tried to hang it, I could not get the hinges all aligned. Once I had 2/3 pins in, I unscrewed the 3rd (top) hinge from the door, pinned it, and then screwed it back into the door.
It's always been a little off, but now it really hits at the upper jamb and you can see the uneven gap at the header.
Should I chisel out the mortise at the top to straighten up this door? Or how should I fix?

You generally want to put a 3" long screw through one of the top hinge holes that is closest to the weatherstripping. That will usually suck the hinge tight to the studs behind and will raise the leading edge of the door just slightly and pull it away from the jamb... enough so that it doesn't rub.
