Dryer Vent Through Interior Wall

The original dryer vent in my house must have vented into the garage. At some point, it was re-routed through the garage to the outside. I would like to clean up the hole (garage and interior side). Right now, it's just a flexible hose going through the wall with nothing terminating on either side. Is there something pre-made that I can attach to the wall on both sides to both properly seal the hole and make it look a little more professional?

You can use a simple straight section of galvanized steel pipe/duct to go through the wall, basically just extending what's already there. There is a bulkhead fitting that has the metal duct with a square flange to go against the wall but I've never seen one in a home center so it probably would be a special order.

Yea, that's basically what I have been trying to find. I've looked at the local hardware stores and online, and so far can't find anything.

It never ceases to amaze me where the dryer vents get installed. For some reason it's always brought in close to the floor. There is no way to connect it down there.

I think you can just purchase the metal bulkhead plates and use any 4" metal duct.

I really wish they had this when I was building my house.
