Patching small holes in duct work

I was wondering what my best option is for plugging holes ranging from 1/4” to 1/2”. I removed a pantry and some of the screws and hanger that were used went through the duct in the wall. I have the drywall off and was just wondering my best option to plug/seal them.

Thanks.

Metal foil (aluminum) duct tape works well for that.
All the home improvement stores sell it.
