Mini-split in shed, do I need gable vents to remain open?

My 12' by 12' traditional gable roofed shed has a gable vent on either end. I have insulated and finished the walls and ceiling and I am in the process of installing a mini-split system for heating and cooling.

Question: Do the vents need to remain open or should they be sealed off?

Thank you

If they are open to the soon to be conditioned space they need to be closed.

Definitely close the vents. It's the same as having a window open. OK, when the shed was not conditioned but with heat and AC you want to close it up.

Thanks folks - that was my sense, but wanted to run it by someone else. Much appreciated.
