LG washer drum banging

LG washer drum banging
I have an LG Top Loader washing machine model #WT5101H
The drum sounds like it's banging around a bit. When it first starts to sense the load weight, sounds like it's hitting the sides and when it starts turning to agitate the water around, it's banging lightly when I shouldn't hear anything at all. I guess it got loose from off balance loads.
Is this a DIY fix or do I need to call a repair guy?

Could be DIY here is a diagram of washer Part # K100 will need 4. I thought they came in a kit of 4 but does not look like it. Is your washer solid on the floor. All 4 feet need to be on the floor. A slight wiggle can cause your problem.

Sorry must of missed a click.
LG WASHER Parts | Model WT5101HV | Sears PartsDirect
Look under tub parts K100 need 4Copy part # and google it. May be cheaper someplace else. Several years ago they had a software update for this. You might want to call LG and see if yours applies. Will need model # and Serial # found on back of console. Look over top and I think on left side.
Just googled part and found them around 9.00$

Put this on the back burner during the holidays, but time to fix.
Anyways, you're right about the software update pugsl, and just found out it was for a recall back in 2012. It causes excessive spinning during off balance loads that loosen the drum on this POS that I obviously paid too much for
and I guess that's what happened. I was never notified about this recall and seems to me they should repair this at their expense. But I'm sure they won't so I'm just going to go ahead and order those supports.
Stupid question: DH thinks it has 4 of them, but in the diagram you posted the link for, I'm only seeing 2. Do you know how many I need?

I would call LG as I think it was a recall and should be covered. Will need model # and serial # , 4 supports but call first. Some of the washers the software update did not work and they replaced washer. Before I retired we did many of them.

Update: LG just came out and did the software update and put a new rotor in (the round thing at the bottom of the drum). They said the drum was not loose and just needed that rotor thing. No charge to me!
Will have to do a few loads before I can tell you it's really fixed or not.
