Question Removing a Slinger from a Dishwasher Motor

This is the kind of motor I have

I don't have a diagram for my exact model (du925qwdq3), but this diagram seems to match up perfectly:

According to this, the slinger (27) should be removable. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get it off. It twists independently from the stem, but, just spins, so it doesn't screw off.

Any help would be appreciated.

Not the pro on this but it looks like it is rusted to the shaft. I usually have to cut something like that off.

IF this is on your 30 year old dishwasher............fixing it may not be the best option, although possibly doable.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I didn't say that was my motor That's just the kind of motor I have. Let me rephrase my question. How would you remove the slinger from this?
