Stove glass top warm when using oven

Hi, we have a glasstop Whirlpool range. When we use the oven, the stovetop is getting overly warm. I would expect some warmth but it seems like it is getting worse. Any thoughts?

Any ability to measure what temperature it is compared to the oven temp?

Where is the top getting warm? Is it just over one of the stove elements like the element is on? Is the entire top warm like heat escaping from the oven?

The heat is consistent, over the whole glasstop. Not localized. To the other responder I will try to measure the temp if I can find an appropriate thermometer.

Now at my wits end with this fridge. Model: KSRG25FVMS02 1) [B]The fridge compartment will not cool[/B]. Might as well be a pantry. No airflow into this compartment from the freezer. Even put my hand over fully open air diffuser assembly and could not feel any breeze. 2) [B]Freezer not cold enough[/B]. Though the freezer compartment seems to be working just fine, after measuring with a thermometer, I was shocked that it only measures 18° F (-9° c) 3) [B]Frost build up on evaporator coils.[/B] After disassembling the airflow duct system I discovered the build up on the picture I have attached. However, the evaporator fan is still working. [ATTACH]77446[/ATTACH] 4) [B]The icemaker is not working as well.[/B] Figured it would need a minimum temperature before it can start making ice. Prior to everything going south, the fridge started to make these cycling like noises along with some clicking sounds. I have a GE side by side refrigerator model PSF26PGTA BB. The vent that blows air in the beverage center is clogged with ice. The fan is running for the vent and I can access it (though it is a pain) but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot what the problem is. If the fan is running, what else should I be looking at?
