Ice in beverage center vent GE side by side

I have a GE side by side refrigerator model PSF26PGTA BB. The vent that blows air in the beverage center is clogged with ice. The fan is running for the vent and I can access it (though it is a pain) but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot what the problem is. If the fan is running, what else should I be looking at?
Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

You need to look for a frozen over evaporator (cold coil) or a clogged drain line right below it.

Usually a temperature problem goes hand in hand with the frosted coil.
Are your temperatures holding correct ?

These GE fridges are notorious for control board, evaporator fan and thermistor problems.

In the following link.... look at the freezer section. You'll see the large evaporator coil that needs to be checked.

Thanks - all of the temps are holding correctly and the only place I'm getting any icing at all is in the beverage center vent. The rest of the freezer and refrigerator are frost free.
I had a problem a few years ago and looked at a coil at the back of the refrigerator. Just confirming what you said, there is one in the freezer I should look at?
