Kenmore Oasis top load clothes washer-water coming out of the lid

I need help troubleshooting. There is water coming out of the left side of the lid. I haven't seen it happen, so I don't know during which cycle this is happening. I only know based on the evidence. There is a small puddle of water in front of the washer and I can see residue on the front of the washer of water streams with specks of detergent grains . I have noticed this only with my recent two loads. No other problems are evident.

I've seen washers do that in spin but rarely wash.
Post the model number for that washer.
It will be down at the bottom/under the lid when opened.

Thank you for your reply. Since my first post, I have done three more loads and it hasn't happened. Also, you misread my first post. I didn't say it happened during the wash cycle. I said I didn't know in which cycle it happened. So it very well could have happened during the spin cycle.

I have one more load to go, so I will watch again to see if it happens and during which cycle.

Here is the model #: 110.27032600

So, after 4 loads, the water is no longer running out of the lid. For future reference, what causes this to happen?

Yes.... I was just stating when the water is usually thrown out.

My forum partner may also have an opinion on the problem.

Been a few years since I have open your type washer, but that washer has a multi faceted Inlet valve with many hoses connected to it. Have never seen your problem in many years of working on washers. There are 2 spring clips that hold top down. Use a thin putty knife to push them back and lift top. There are 3 or 4 hoses that connect to fill valve, check them for cracks.

I understand. Thanks. That gives me a starting point if it should start happening again.
