Water accumulates in refrigerator

I have a Whirlpool Mark 1 Series Combination refrigerator/freezer. It was given to me in 2002. It had been around a while before that. Water accumulates in the bottom of the refrigerator compartment. On the ceiling of the refrigerator compartment, there is a rusty spot. If I put my finger on that, it feels wet. The freezer compartment and the refrigerator compartment stay cold just fine. What is happening, and what can I do about it?

It's normal for the warm air to rise and condense under the freezer section.

Usually excessive water inside of the fridge is caused by a blocked drain line from the evaporator coil. When the unit defrosts the condensate is directed down a drain to a heated pan in the bottom of the fridge.

I'd need a model number to help you with more detailed help.

Sounds like the drain tube to the pan is plugged, it gets clogged with dirt etc and then water does not get removed.

That is not a complete model number. Look for the ID tag and it will be the complete one.

There isn't an ID tag. I looked all over the outside and inside of the refrigerator.
