Hotpoint CTX18GLJ schematic

I'm looking for a Hotpoint CTX18GLJ refrigerator schematic... there are heaters in the sides that are prevent condensation and they are stuck on. I have pulled the control switch out and tested for continuity in both positions, it is working properly...in either position the heaters remain on. So I'm guessing a stuck relay some where but don't see one. I would like to just clip and cap the wires going to heaters.Attachment Name: frig2.jpg

Sometimes the condenser lines are run thru the the sides of the cabinet to dissipate heat.
I've never seen a relay or electronic control on the mullion heaters.

The diagram for your fridge is there. It is either just behind and above the kickpplate or back in the compressor area. It's called a tech sheet and will have the diagram on it.

Here is a screen shot from the manual that talks about the heaters... here is an image from our infrared camera showing them on? Unless you think it might be the condenser lines? I will look for schematic again but didn't see oneName: Screenshot from 2018-08-05 17-19-29.jpg

Heaters, if used, are low wattage heating elements. I've never seen them controlled by the fridge.
It's just been a user selectable switch like you're seen.

Look closely.... if you bought the fridge new.... the tech sheet will be there. It could be folded up and in a small plastic bag. Sometimes taped up under the bottom.

The upload software looks at the pictures and if they are oversized based on the board parameters.... it resizes them. Many times the pics fit the board parameters if turned..... so they get turned. Go figure.

Glad to see you found the tech sheet. Very important... make sure to put it back for next time.
Very basic box. Nothing electronic to mess up. Keep it as long as you can.
The condenser loop is what is run thru the sides of the box. Technically, the mullion heaters are at the front of the fridge.
