Hello everyone, I'm trying to diagnose a problem I have with my Smeg range, model c30ggxu1. None of the spark igniters on the burners are clicking anymore, so now I have to manually light them with a match/lighter to turn on. However the oven still turns on and heats up. Does this sound like the spark igniter module would be the problem? I ask because the oven still turns on/heats up and not sure if it should not be turning on either if it was the igniter module. Anything else I should look for? Thanks!

Hi there! I live in Peru and run a small hostel. There are US Whirlpool top load washers available here if you look for them and have acquired in the last months two of them. I don't think model numbers are necessary just yet, but they are 15 and 20kg both with agitator. Recent models, one supposedly imported shop model and the other a used one, the standard white big machines. I am going a bit crazy over the fact that both washers randomly 'act strange'. It has been like that with the 15 kg one from the beginning that it seems that every now and then it keeps filling and washing and taking forever to finish. Recently also the other one seems to be doing it.. I find washers suddenly taking forever (hours!!) to finish.. Keep filling and washing when it is on spinning cycle.. Filling more than 3 times for no reason whatsoever.. Or just stop working with the cycle light just blinking?.. All in all just strange behavior for which i don't have an explanation.. Remember they are two machines that both act strange!! Are they just pulling tricks on me? Or could it be our dodgy electrics, or unstable electricity supply that have something to do with it? Remember it is Peru here and i don't know if voltage or current shifts could be an issue? We definitely have power outages also at times and power surges. How would random failure and 'weird' behavior otherwise be explained?? Someone has an idea??? (apparently we are at 220V at 60hz, but i am pretty sure these machines (should) work fine on that) thanks!!!
