When I moved into my current house, its Whirlpool WSF26D4EXY00 refrigerator needed its water filter replaced. The ice maker was still working. It took me a month to get to buying new water filter. By then, the ice maker was no longer dispensing ice. After I replaced the filter, I can get the water from dispenser but it is not making ice. The ice tub is empty.
Any ideas how to troubleshoot it?
Thanks

Do you have the ice maker turned on ?
There is a light on one side of the bin that shows when the bin is full. Is that working ?
It should change state if you block the beam.
See if you can feel ice in the tray.
Sometimes a flashlight and a mirror helps to see if there's ice.

By tray..... I mean the actual ice maker tray. It holds roughly/produces 14 cubes.
Please see page 14 in the manual below for the ice maker switch location. It has a picture too.
