Hello-

I have a Whirlpool WRT316SFDM01 refrigerator which has an icemaker. With my old refrigerator's ice maker, when I took the end cap off the icemaker, I could use a small section of wire as a "jumper" to force the icemaker to go through a cycle. Unfortunately, when I disposed of my old refrigerator recently, I forgot to take a picture of where to insert either end of the jumper wire to make the ice maker go through one cycle.

Attached is a picture of the end of my new ice maker. Do you know which holes (they're lettered) I can insert my little jumper wire into force the ice maker to go through one cycle? I realize I could just start shoving the ends of the wires into each hole until something works, but I don't want to cause damage by shorting something out accidentally.

P.S. Why do I want to do this? Because this refrigerator is in a motorhome and I have to witnerize the motorhome by replacing all the water in the entire plumbing system (including the refrigerator plumbing) with anti-freeze solution so trapped water doesn't freeze and bust a water line. I have to force the icemaker through several cycles to get all the water out.

 

Place an insulated jumper into the L and V holes.
