Frigidaire fridge with no water
I have a three year old Frigidaire Gallery side by side that the water has stopped flowing to the ice make and the water in the door is just a trickle. I have checked the supply to make sure that was not the problem, and it's not. I can hear the valve open for the water to ice maker, but none flows in. I'm guessing a solenoid valve somewhere is not working. Is it the one right where the supply line attaches? Or am I looking in the wrong direction?

Thanks in advance for your help.

There could be one of several problems.
If you have a saddle tee water connection..... it's probably corroded shut.
Have you tried changing the filter ?
Some fridges have what looks like a garden hose connection and may contain a filter screen.
Typically with a valve problem...... it doesn't work at all.
The valve/solenoid assembly is on the front page.

It's all pex tubing up to the cut off valve before the fridge, plenty of flow to the fridge. I have a whole house filter system so I don't see how the filter could be clogged, but it has never been changed.
This makes me think it's more the valve since I don't hear it click when I push the valve for water, its just barely more than a dribble.
Thanks for your help.

After replacing the valve you may have to go in and use a hair dryer to thaw out the tubing to the ice maker.
Due to low flow it may be frozen most likely at the ice maker.
