Dishwasher latch keeps breaking
Have a GE dishwasher where the latch keeps getting dislocated. You'll see in the pic below, it's shifted to the right. If I use my finger to 'snap' it back to the center, the DW will close and latch, but it's not as strong as it should be and opens during the cycle.
I've already replaced the latch once for the same issue (with an OEM part), it worked for 10 months, but now it's doing it again.
You can't really see it in the pic, but it also seems like the door is about 1/4" too low going into the latch, which might be part of the issue. But the frame doesn't seem bent or flexible, and I don't think (?) there's a door adjustment?
Before I go replace the latch again - any suggestions?

Has anything been set on the door when opened, or kids st on it. Had dryers that happened and repair was to re bend hinge back.

Thanks pugsl, I'll take a closer look at the hinge.
It's a rental, and I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped a bowling ball on it or something. *rolling my eyes*
