Maytag Gemini Electric Double Oven wont Bake

Hello Everyone, glad to be here.

Weird issue, this is a Maytag Double Oven, small oven on top, large on bottom, no drawer and its self cleaning.

It happened once before where the main bottom bake element burned out and broke, I replaced it and it worked for a few more years.

Same thing happened again, broken bake element, this time I replaced it but it still doesnt turn on.

The the upper oven and range top work amd there is 240 v coming from the wall.

I tested the new element and it has continuity. I tried to look for a thermal fuse but only found this bimetal disc thing, which i dont think is it because I removed it and tied the wires and it didnt resolve it.

I checked the voltage at the element when on and there is none.

Any ideas? Could this be the temp probe? Or control board? Is there anything else I can test?
Only thing I noticed on back was discolored/black burnt looking around light socket terminals for the the oven light, but thats just for the bulb.

Model Number: MER6775BCW

Thanks in advance!!!

You'd probably be wise to post a model number if you want specific advice.

Is there a way to test the temp probe?

Any ideas, or a troubleshooting flow would be great.
(even a link to a similar thread)

Thanks everyone

That's not a complete model number. Check the ID tag.
I'm not finding tech info.
Is this a Canadian appliance ?

Both sensors should be the same so check them against each other.
It sounds more like the board failed due to the element short.
My next step would be to open the control section and check the board for visible burns.

It is a Canadian appliance.

That is the complete model number from the tag, a similar model would be mer6751aaw.

Thanks PJMax!!

I do have the wiring diagram for the appliance but it doesn't help much.
The diagram is also shown in the exploded views.... Sears Parts Direct

Not sure why two different heat sensors are used.
Doesn't make much sense and there's no labeling which is which.
Maytag sensors
