Vitamix blender motor problem

Greetings,

My blender is starting to make strange noises after a few seconds of running and there is also a burning smell. I'm including a video to demonstrate the problem.

Hope somebody can point me in the right direction about what to do to fix it, if it's even fixable at all.

TIA

You might be able to get the motor repaired, but that will likely cost much more then a new blender. I would say scrap it (it is copper) and get a new one.

I moved your thread to the small appliance forum.

It looks and sounds like something may have leaked thru the drive seal and into the motor. You may be able to take it apart and clean it.

Sending out to have the motor repaired would be pretty expensive and cost prohibitive. That motor is an available part from many places. You can search for 15669 motor. It runs around $135.
