New Fan Connect to Outlet Switch

I currently have a switch which controls two outlets (both sides of each outlet. I would like to install a ceiling fan and run power to it from this same switch. Ideally I would like to have the current switch function as it does and just add a new switch to control the ceiling fan (it has a remote so one switch for the fan and light is fine). Currently there are two white wires which are connected to eachother and the two black wires are connected to the switch. How can I draw power to control my new fan? Thank you for the help.

Welcome to the forums.

You are describing 2) two wire cables coming into that box. One cable is the feed in and the other is the feed to the receptacles.

You want to connect to the feed in cable. The easiest way to find it is to pull the switch out, make sure it's in the off position and check from each black wire to ground or to the white connection. The live one is the feed.
